INTRODUCING 2011 SCREAMQUEEN AWARD WINNER ALICIA ROSEWWW.SCREAMQUEEN.COMOne of Alicia’'s earliest film memories is watching the Alien film franchise with her father, and her mother’'s horrified reaction that he’d let her watch that series at such a young age. However, Sigourney Weaver left a strong impression on her, and she wanted nothing more than to be one of the strong women who dominated the franchise. She would often run around the house pretending to be Ripley or Vasquez, saving the world from the Alien menace.But it wasn’t until she was in 8th grade that she got her chance to act for real, playing a small role as a ghost in her school’s production of Cracks in the Autumn Night. After just one small taste of the stage, she knew what she wanted to do, and she went on to complete five wonderful productions including her favorite role as Juliet in the 2008 production of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet –but it wasn’t until Alicia graduated from high school that she stepped off the stage and onto the film set, and after her first job as an extra in a short film, she was off again. For an actress of her talent, the sky really is the limit. Since discovering her passion, Alicia has done several small films and features including Devotion, Bus Map, and American Disciples.Alicia has just landed a starring role in the upcoming thriller The Innocent, and will be making an appearance at Crypticon Seattle 2011, where she will be available for autographs, photos, and questions in support of the film debut.

Beth Marie: Comic book artist. Animal advocate. Painter. Actress. Is there anything this lovely and talented woman can't do? She's even training to become the next great female sword swallower!Born in Toppenish, Washington a small town in the eastern part of the state, Beth moved around a lot as a child, but always stayed in the Pacific Northwest, eventually making her home in Portland, Or.Inspired by the classics chief amongst them being Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein, Beth finds these images and feeling reflected strongly in her art. But those are not the only things that inspire this blonde bombshell underground hip-hop, rebels, beatniks, and strong women who know what they want and how to get it are forces that push her to excel.Her first acting experience came on the set of Gravestone Entertainments feature film The Innocent, where she played a bartender with an attitude. She also garnered a small role in the horror film 15, and is really just beginning to explore the acting community.If she approaches it with the same drive and passion she does everything else in life, there is no telling where this road might lead.You can meet Beth Marie at Crypitcon Seattle 2011, where shell be making her 2nd appearance following the stellar and insanely popular 2010 show.

Dara's introduction to film began at a young age when her father bought the family a video camera and was gracious enough to let his young daughter use it. She spent much of her childhood making home movies with her friends; shooting commercials, documentaries, talk shows and even her own short films hoping to one day star in a feature film like her Hollywood idol -Juliette Lewis.In college she took every acting class offered, often taking them twice for the sheer love of working on dramatic projects. One of her favorites was improvisational theater, as it offered her an opportunity to explore her range, and the freedom to be spontaneous, transforming from one character to the next. Acting led her to working on short plays, and short films, at the local college for Dara, it was a dream come true. Always a driven, and passionate woman; acting consumed her.Her life changed dramatically when she gave birth to a beautiful boy, and she knew that this gift would change her life forever. Acting is tough work, and gigs can be hard to come by, so Dara refocused herself, turning her work ethic to a field with stability that would allow her to care for her family, and for the last 10 years, she has poured her compassion into helping others in the health care field, working with the same drive and motivation that she once poured into acting.It wasnt until recently that her passion for acting the childhood love she had considered leaving behind, was given another chance. Gravestone Entertainment was casting for an upcoming feature titled The Innocent and the auditions were local. The opportunity may not come around again, and Dara pushed herself, prepared to give the audition of her life... And she did.A week later, she was invited to a callback, where she would have to compete against 2 other actresses for a lead role. The competition was very tough professional actresses against the amateur, but once again Daras drive and relentless pursuit carried the day. She was cast to play Shelly Mulgrove, a starring role in a feature film.The little girl, who dreamed of one day being a star, was on her way. **UPDATE: Since shooting The Innocent, Dara has been cast in two short films and has landed another starring role, this time in the psychological thriller 15 a role sure to challenge her and give her fans nightmares as she becomes the object of desire for a serial killer.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Mayan was always a shy child -until she landed on stage. Being on stage in a variety of plays brought out a side of her that loved the spotlight. Having acted in a variety of school plays all throughout her childhood, it was only natural that she found her way to Gravestone Entertainment and a role in the feature horror film '15'. When not acting, Mayan is a student, pursuing a degree in English. And when not in school, Mayan is an avid hiker, a lover of the outdoors, and a true adventurer! Mayan list her favorite film as White Oleander; a film she's watched so many times she has it memorized. Whenever she dreams of becoming a professional actress, she reminds herself of her hero: Alison Lohman -an actress whose passion and determination to succeed drive Mayan on. Mayan will be appearing at Crypticon 2011 along with the other girls on the Gravestone Girls 2011 team!
